Katie Brunswick, M.Ed, BCBA, COBA
Founder & Clinical Director
I’m Katie Brunswick — Board Certified Behavior Analyst, founder of Little Steps ABA Therapy, and someone who genuinely loves watching kids grow into their strengths. I’ve spent years working with young children with autism, and every day I’m reminded of the joy, creativity, and resilience they bring into the world.
Having grown up with a younger brother with autism, I knew I wanted to work with the autistic population in some capacity. During my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I was introduced to behavior analysis and immediately felt drawn to the field. After graduating, I became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), went on to earn my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and became a BCBA in 2019.
Since then, I’ve worked as a BCBA across a wide range of settings — homes, schools, daycares, and clinics. Most recently, I served as a Clinical Director, where I supported families, mentored BCBAs and RBTs, and developed treatment programs grounded in compassion, collaboration, and meaningful progress.
I specialize in working with children under the age of 8, providing individualized, evidence-based assessment and treatment. A trauma-informed lens is at the core of my practice. I deeply believe that our young children with autism are doing the best they can with the tools they have, and my role is to help them build new skills, communicate their wants and needs in adaptive ways, and feel supported emotionally when the world feels challenging.
Starting Little Steps ABA Therapy has been a long-time dream. I envisioned a practice that feels warm, inviting, and genuinely supportive — a place where each child’s needs and interests guide the path forward, where families feel heard, and where every member of the team feels as valuable as their work is!
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every child deserves to feel capable, confident, and celebrated. And every family deserves a partner who listens, collaborates, and walks beside them every step of the way.
I’m so grateful you’re here, and I’d be honored to support your family on your journey!
